About the Association

The Duk County Association in the USA was formed in December, 2002, by Lost Boys and Girls from Duk County in Southern Sudan as a continuation of the Duk Community Association formed in 2000 at Kakuma Refugee camp in Kenya. The Duk County Association in the USA brought Duk ku Duk brothers, sisters and friends to work together as a team in a spirit of harmony and integrity; we seek to rebuild Duk County. We will strive to make Duk ku Duk an attractive and worthy place, not only for ourselves and those who follow us, but also to honor all our beloved sisters, brothers, parents, relatives, and friends whom we lost to the war.

Duk ku Duk, Our Best Home Ever
